"The World's Shortest Poem"

Response To Chaos:

“I have peanuts.”

Armageddon

When I got lost in your eyes, I thought:
"Nothing worse can happen."
I was right.

Continuously Morphing List Of Quotes #2 (April, 2008, November, 2009)

"Don't let your insatiable appetite for bullshit run away with you" Sarah Scully

"Watching T.V. is like spray painting your third eye black." Bill Hicks

"Find out where the water goes." Malachi

"Reality is an illusion that occurs due to the lack of alcohol." Anon

"Drinking is an emotional thing. It joggles you out of the standardism of everyday life, out of everything being the same. It yanks you out of your body and your mind and throws you against the wall. I have the feeling that drinking is a form of suicide where you're allowed to return to life and begin all over the next day. It's like killing yourself, and then you're reborn the next morning." Bukowski

"I will not kiss your fucking flag....there is some shit I will not eat."
eecumings

"If you know what
life is, death
is not a mystery." Panteleone

"If they can kill the President, do you think they'd waste a second on
a two-bit show girl like me?" from the movie "JFK"

" To sit by silent when we should protest makes cowards out of men" Ella Wheeler Wilcox

" You can't "move" through space, because you are space" Zenon

"Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear. "--Harry S. Truman

" In the spring of 1968, when Martin King was marching (and Robert Kennedy was campaigning), King was determined that massive, nonviolent civil disobedience would end the domination of democracy by corporate and military power. The powers that be took Martin Luther King seriously. They dealt with him in Memphis. " Jim Douglas

Out Ran Two Cops, Fooled One

Red Feather Lakes, Colorado…two times….
coming out of the barrel…the local tavern
in my Celica with the hot engine….I saw
the lights go on as I passed them…gunned it…flew
past a truck resting at the stop sign….90+
to the dirt road. They probably didn’t even chase me.

On that same dirt road, going home fast, passed the chief
of police going the other way…he stopped…I knew he saw
me…so, I stopped immediately. He came up to me, purring
by the side of the road.

He: “I could put you in jail for six months for this.”

Me: “I hope you don’t.”

He: “Why were you going so fast?”

Me: “I know the road.”

After a brief convulsive octopus, he let me go. I knew I had him.

I Made Love On Marpa Point

That was before they made it a holy hill,
although, I have to say, it was always holy for me.
I’m glad I reached that pinnacle so I could
have my climax…it was special, don’t you know…
…blue Colorado skies, warm weather, everything
out in the open…and, doesn’t that just make it
taste better?

The Strategy

The strategy is not to put people directly into
prison camps. The strategy is to demoralize all
honest, intelligent, thinking, caring people…
take away their livelihood…put them on the street…
make them homeless, broken…THEN put
them into internment camps. People, IT’S WORKING.
Amerika is becoming the most insidious evil this planet
has ever seen.

Flat On My Face

I needed something after that bitch-slap
Mother Earth gave me…walked in to my
landlady’s, blood streaming from my face,
said: “I think it’s time we had a drink, and
got to know each other.” That broke the ice.

The Dogs Like My Place

They like to crap around it…
I must make them feel relaxed.
I had a girl friend like that once…
when she came to visit, she would
grab a shovel, say: “I don’t know
what it is.” and go outside and dig
a hole in the ground. It didn’t mean
the sex was any good…you can’t fool
the body.

Koan

"What is the answer to no question?"

Testimonial

I'm one of the luckiest people in the universe...met
a maha siddha when I was 23....in the USA...not a place
known for maha siddhas, then or since. That I would know
that Buddhism was what I wanted to do with my life was
itself a miracle...and there were more that I don't
talk about with people...

Now I'm in Mexico with enough money for the
foreseeable future...my only task/joy is to keep practicing
....listen to the raindrops on my corrugated plastic roof....
drink rum and pina,...why I even care what's happening
in Shambhala International, I don't know...
the less I care, the more I feel I've progressed.

It's simple, really....really, it's more and more simple.
How could I have regrets at the time of death? I did the
right thing that many people got scared of and ran away
to normalcy....so beautiful....

The Last Meal My Mother Ate Was Raw Meat

She hadn’t eaten for two weeks…
but when it came time to die,
she was hungry.

...my chips dissolve

...my chips dissolve in the heat haze of alcohol,
peace, pot, non-meditation,
and realizing that I have not entirely wasted my life.
