Realities Bleed

Realities bleed into each other,

like watercolors.

Remember leaving the movie theatre,

the story still vibrates in you, 

the surroundings tingle with movie scenery.

Aliens from space have been intruding into

human reality, at least in stories, intensifying 

since World War Two.

(My dad took my brother and I as kids to his office

in Chicago to show us off in our space suits.)

All the stories by authorities and agencies to

quell the anxiety “What’s happened to my 

reality, Dude?” because the UFO/alien issue

is part of our experience already, whether 

directly or via hearsay or testimony, (has been

my whole life).

If it wasn’t real, no one would talk about it.

It’s not going to disappear or go away.

Will we just become more and more aware of it

until we finally take it for granted, 

like the airplane?

If you don’t like the weather, just wait a while.
