Of Course China (amended)

…would disseminate the virus, mess with
Hong Kong, generally start acting like the
enemy of the USA it is now. China wants
Biden to win as much as the Democrats…
they’re on the same side: the side of
absolute totalitarianism.

Thank goodness most Americans haven’t
been brainwashed and/or are waking up.
It’s not business as usual, folks, where
Trump seems to be the bad guy because
he doesn’t talk nice and do as he’s told like
all the other politicians.

He’s done enough good, big things already
as President; the economy, North Korea,
Iran, his handling of the Corona virus, real
things that happened, that to ignore them
is willful ignorance. And to prefer to hate him
rather than see the good he is doing is insane…
but, that is brainwashing.

Addendum:

The mask has been ripped off China.
It’s clear that the criminal regime of the CCP is
not interested in trade with the United States,
becoming a global citizen, having a free society.
It’s clear that we are already at war with
China…not its people, but its regime. That
regime is an enemy to its own people as sure
as Hitler was to the Germans. It spread the virus
willfully. It now is in the process of breaking its
agreements with Hong Kong. China is the last
great dictatorship left over from the Twentieth
Century, and the CCP  must be destroyed, either
by it’s own people rising  up, or, from without: a
coalition of Eastern and Western powers that
already realize the threat it is.

We are also experiencing an internal war in the
USA. Riots co-ordinated at the same time around
the country due to that black man's death in
Minnesota? How did they organize so quickly?
Soros. Antifa:

"Destroying America will be the culmination of
my life's work." George Soros

Wake up America!  Hurry up!

Poet's Lament

The same old story
a fight for love and glory
with a lack of lead in the pencil.

Not a complaint, a love song
for all those lost on the rocks
or, straight up futilized; the play’s
a bitch when the truth is revealed.

Sisyphus run out of rocks to roll…
it’s nice standing on the other shore
that magic feeling of nowhere to go.

“My heart is an owl that is nailed,
unnailed, renailed…” (Appolinaire)

This moment seems perfect because of
the tomato juice with tobasco and pepper,
beautiful space, a nice mental taste…
(with losing memory comes also lack of
concern about the future…"now" by default.)

And so it goes, the mornings, evenings,
afternoons, days that flow like unimpeded
timeless water on the way to its ocean.

No argument, no clear intent,
no overwhelming question.
Everything absolute correlative.

As If You Were Never There

The flowers are already wilted.
No one wants to kiss the corpse.
Sadness that he’s gone, shared
memories of good times that fade
as soon as we get into the car,
drive home, get to mowing the lawn.

Once a year, we take out a box
of old photos and look at them,
laugh, sigh, and put them away again.

Maybe some good he did will live on;
maybe some ripples on the pond
that diminish as time goes on
’til the water is still again.

What information do the caveman’s
bones relay? Did he laugh, did he cry,
did he matter except to scientists
with nothing better to do than figure out
what he ate? Even the stories they make
fall short of salvation.

We’re here, and then, we’re gone;
only known as long as memory lives on.

Bored Silly

Now, that’s an odd term,
isn’t it?
What would that look like?
Clowns throwing the hundredth pie?

Maybe

A good answer to any question
a way out of any argument
a piece of emotional armor
that box in the corner where you
throw everything you don’t want
to deal with.

Mitigating Matter

The pain of conditioned existence,
which Buddhists say, for a regular
person is like an eyelash on the
palm of your hand, to a Buddhist,
is like an eyelash in your eye…
mitigated by matter
that changes
the chemicals in our brains
mitigating our matter.

We mitigate our lives the best
we can, the slings and arrows,
as long as we can stand.
A little helper doesn’t hurt…
I can’t see anything wrong with that.

What’s wrong with tweeting the
equipment, open tuning the
instrument, tuning the fork?
After all, as Wallace Stevens wrote:
“The eccentric is the basis of design.”

No: “I can’t tonight, Darling,
I have a headache.”
No!
There should be more...there isn’t.

(Instead of taking a leap there,
I thought I'd skip it).
