Today’s Words

It’s not as hot today.

The rain comes at the end of May.

Naked with a fan on me, I’m ok.

The weather here won’t hurt me.

Human society, on the other hand,

could take my life away. In history,

a lot of people didn’t make it out alive.

So much of it was just trying to survive.

Humans on the whole learning and evolving is new.

It’s only been happening for a millennium or two.

It’s dumb to be concerned with trivial pursuits 

when the wisdom that transcends confusion

has been and is readily available, but it may

well be we never heard of such a thing….

especially if we’re from Kansas.
