Life, Go Figure

damned if you do, damned if you don't…

but some of it is pretty beautiful….

it's like a movie that lasts a little too long….

and an ending nobody's happy with.

This could not have been anyone's idea….

it's too complex, chaotic, diverse for that.

Man invented God because he needed to feel order….

he couldn't handle the complexity…

.it's as simple as that.

That's what our minds do….filter experience

for what we believe we can understand.

We can do better, but, it just doesn't occure

to us to do so.  Go figure.
