Moment

As the world seems to fall apart

and my life approaches its conclusion

in my humble sanctuary a parting of

the clouds of uncertainty to a clear spot

of time an infinitesimal Casablanca 

in the ocean of the time of my life

outside of the whirlwind of world karma

where the space of humorous irony 

takes me home to what I always knew.

Not a myth not a fairy tale not a parable 

only a taste of eternal destiny.
