If Only

If only I knew.

(I do know…I found out…

but, let’s pretend.)

If only I had known,

if only I will know.

Uncertainty, change is

what’s happening continuously,

to the point of if only, because

we can’t keep up with the program,

the karma.

So we believe so we can say: “I know”

when we don’t really have a clue.

If only people would try to find the truth.

If only people would think for themselves.

I apologize for wishful thinking.

Unfortunately, samsara doesn’t seem to 

work that way.

It came about because of confusion, 

so its nature is confusion.

Scientists looking for the nature of reality

just numbly don’t get there.

If only people would listen.
