The dentist says this and we do it.
The world is saying it every day you’re alive,
it needs and wants your openness.
The world needs your heart exposed.
How else is it going to learn?
Be like the poets and prophets and
troubadours of the past!
Sing your song that no one has heard!
Sooth the savageness of the untamed world!

More like, sliced wide open. Who is it that hurts, if I'm hurting; if I bleed in a grocery store and no one cares, does it even make a sound?
