Mask Communication

 The masks are on

and the muzzles are not far behind, 

in fact, Facebook et. al.

are trying to mask their muzzling

as “community protection policy”

doublespeak if there ever was.

Meanwhile the usual suspects 

have always been masked

behind fake smiles

behind lies of good intention

behind words that say

what they think you want to hear

will believe

will succumb to

even while they’re busy

stealing your lives.
