Ode To Lost Time

The time you think you lost
in the prisons
in the libraries
when you could
have been doing
something better
whatever that
means to you now.

That time is not
your enemy, in fact,
that time has the same
value as any other time.

You were alive, you breathed,
you did your time….if you feel
you lost time, it means you have
this time now.
