Purple with hard stem...
Yellow anther athems when they open.

Yeah, right, like life itself
and puppies bouncing with energy...
tequila falls like rain.

Purple and yellow...the Regent's colors...
the rainbow that happened as they lit the fire
to burn his body.
That was life too
a long time ago.

The fire is out.
Now the rain comes down.
Humming bird does it's dance
around the purple flower...
the phone doesn't ring...
and tequila goes down
like the echo of a gong.
