Ode to Vanity Fair Magazine

(The Last OF Eden)

"Here is a dog of no known kind,
with one white eye and one black eye,
and the eyes of it's eyes
are as lost as you'll find."  eecummings

Looks like they found another lost tribe…
well, it wasn't lost 'til they found it; they
knew exactly where they were. Now that
they've been found, they are sure to be lost.
This is what we do…this is all we  do…this
Terminator civilization.

Maybe in six months one of these
darlings will be adopted by society and
trained to walk a runway in Paris, wearing
the latest jungle chic…. (might be a challenge
to teach them to walk  in a straight line.)

They say there are still a few small
civilizations left that haven't been discovered
…in South America and the tropical Pacific.
Why do we have  to find them? They might be
some of the few  people left able to survive in
the world that's coming. Can't we keep our
corrupting dirty paws off  of anything? We could
put them into a preserve… (wait, that doesn't
sound right.)…..what I mean, is we could put bars
around wherever they are….it wouldn't be like a jail,
because that's where they are  already. If we tell
them it's to keep the rest of  civilization out, they
might start to like us.  The Kogi have kept us away
for over five hundred years, so far….
and they still have their culture.

You notice they put the article at the back of
the magazine. Thank you, Vanity Fair, for
demonstrating that you are the white trash you
so vividly represent.

A quote from Aldous Huxley:

"The leech's kiss,
the squid's embrace,
the prurient ape's defiling touch….
and, do you like the human race?
No, not much.

From a military Shrink I know:
"pre/post traumatic stress inability."
"That's why we'll never get these little
chocolate bastards…(to use your words)
to walk in a straight line."
