Two Fans

Two fans hot the top floor concrete roof

bakes in the sun good passive solar but

not when you don’t need it it gets cool

enough to sleep later the whole month 

and part of June then rain comes and 

the flowers come and the heat is forgotten

and then there’s only one fan.
