I lost my account on X because I trusted

someone I shouldn’t have. I have a new

account on X, but none of my posts seem

to get posted, so, I wanted to tell this story

here.

I was looking at a post about women in

the army. The debate is between a DEI

military, and one advocated by Trump 

Pete Hegseth. The new Defense Secretary 

wants a force that is trained for combat

as it’s primary objective. 

My dad was a training sergeant in WW2.

He told me that if they had a recruit that

was constantly borderline insubordinate 

and acting out, the sergeants would take

this person behind the barracks one night

and beat the shit out of them. He said the 

reason they did this was because that kind 

of habitual behavior could get someone

killed on the battlefield. That’s how they 

trained troops back then.
