Dystopian
Right now
rubble left from riots
message the future.
Light is brighter:
spectacles, ceremonies, conclaves.
Dark is darker:
aforementioned disasters, wars, plagues,
social mayhem, actual mayhem.
Refuge could be a doorway in an abandoned city.
Escape to the countryside while there’s still time?
The City And The Stars by Arthur C. Clark.
Even music echos hollowness of the homosap.
All this survival for nothing?
At least, there’s still the question.
