Impulse Giving

I gave a friend something my daughter gave me

that I liked very much.

He spent a couple of hours with me explaining 

my relationship to the Mayan Calendar. It’s 

his speciality, as a mathematician.

Whether it was worth it or not, for me, is not

important. 

He spent hours preparing to talk to me.

Letting go of something precious is an

appropriate response.
