Art For Art’s Sake
People did art
in concentration camps
when all seemed lost.
When all seemed lost,
people did art anyway
to still feel alive.
Art, which arose from nothing,
is always there
available to be seen and felt.
Art is truth in the form of beauty.
It’s a sign that you’ve come the
right place.
It reminds you who you are.
It’s not entertainment.
