Some words arise in my mind, 

“You never know…” someone said

after the First World War

after the A bombs on Japan

after Kennedy was shot

after the Titanic hit the berg

after we dropped acid in the 60s

after Tyson won the title at twenty

after the moves you made to new cities

after you walked out the door

for a pack cigarettes

and were gone forever

after Trump was elected

just in case
