The Imam

The voice crooned religious froth over

the loud speaker like the voice of Leonard

Cohen but lost in nasal congestion. He

was an Imam. Anyone who listened to the

garbage that he had to say had to be a 

true believer of the most concrete variety.

P.T.Barnum, the first lay Imam, put it 

bluntly in his famous statement: "There's

a sucker born every minute." This was 

special froth: Leonard Cohen depression

froth. No wonder so many were stupidly

happy to blow themselves up. I now 

understand why UFOs were kept secret:

people can't handle the truth. And, what's

terribly worse is that they'll believe in

anything.
