Threadbare

When Teflon tape was invented,

plumbers rejoiced everywhere.

It mean you could take a pipe where

the threads were barely there, slap the

tape on and make a great connection.

You didn’t know that.

You never needed to know that.

But, my imagination being threadbare,

I slapped some Teflon on it, and it

still holds water!  Har Har!
