Do Not Trust

I didn’t trust the American government,

which is why I moved to Mexico.

Now, the world might be on the verge of

a new awakening.

We don’t have long to wait to see if it’s 

just another fantasy, another mythical 

Deus Ex Machina.

Will the Homosap get it straight this time?

If history has anything to say, no way.

But maybe a superior race has had enough

of our shenanigans and wants to set us straight,

or harvest us and call it a day.

Either way, my patience is running thin.

I’m old.

I’ve waited my whole life for the life I ordered

to begin.
