Comforting Words

 The comfort of words that tell us

so that we know things are OK,

that tell us what we can see.

Much harder to live wordlessly,

things becoming symbols of

themselves, a signless sign

language, Zen master slang,

all only pantomime…a nod and

a wink is all you need they say…

too many words anyway.
