Dharma Poem #4
The lavender Jacaranda trees will soon be in blossom.
Carnival begins next week…the annual ¨anything
goes¨ week; streets filled with drunks…
a few people will die.
Anything that can happen will happen.
Anything you can imagine exists somewhere
in the universe.
Eternity is daunting, and we´re in it.
Space is endless and we´re part of it.
The play of phenomena reveals the truth:
it´s all a dream…
…nothing really happens.
Memories on celluloid decompose with age.
Multiple witnesses can't agree on what they saw.
The fallacy of misplaced concreteness (Whitehead)
takes center stage.
