Out Of Body

I had that experience
at Elgin Academy,

my senior year, so, probably 

1967, in the senior lounge 

after lunch. I was reading

Huston Smith’s “The Religions 

Of Man”, and, I believe I was 

reading about Hinduism…..one

moment…..the next I was staring 

down at myself, on the couch,

reading the book.  I can still see

myself clearly there. I panicked,

and, within a moment, I was back.

in my body. I never told anyone

‘till now.
